My work explores memory, identity, and imagination through collage and mixed media. Using both analog and digital processes, I combine photography, found imagery, painted surfaces, textiles, and paper to create layered compositions that move between representation and abstraction. I am interested in how fragmented images can be transformed into new visual narratives. Female figures, hands, landscapes, architectural elements, and natural forms frequently appear in my work, serving as symbols of connection, experience, and personal history. Through layering, juxtaposition, and reconstruction, I investigate the relationships between memory, place, and storytelling. My process is rooted in experimentation and discovery. Images are assembled, obscured, removed, and reworked, reflecting the way memories evolve over time. The resulting pieces invite viewers to find their own connections and meanings within the work. As both an artist and educator, I believe creativity is a powerful tool for inquiry, reflection, and transformation.
